Mexicali makes my favorite burrito — I’ve been getting the same one for years, the chili lime chicken. Their homemade hot sauces are the best, I love the pineapple and lime flavors. I miss the little New Paltz location (always looked forward to that pineapple hot sauce burrito after a hike) but glad the Wappingers location exists.

The wife and I went for a late lunch and were extremely impressed. We tried three different tacos and could not pick a clear winner among the three varieties. The chicken chalupa came with a unique sauce and was outstanding. Everything was fresh, crispy and had exceptional taste. Friendly, attentive staff! Fair pricing given the quality. We will definitely be going back soon!

Really great place, always clean!! Friendly staff. My go to... charizo taco, side of jalapeno along with some custom make your own hot sauce. My wifes is tuna taco...yummy!!! We love authentic Mexican cuisine but if you want something other than lettuce cheese and tomatoes on your tacos give this venue a try, I think you'll be pleased.
